Congratulations to our client and friend Randy Thompson for being named Baltimore SmartCEO magazine CEO of the Year.
With more than 350 executives in attendance, the CEO of the Year award was presented to Randy Thompson, CEO of ThompsonGas. Thompson took over the family business in 1996. In just 15 years, Thompson has grown a one-location appliance and propane store in Boonsboro, MD, into a $115 million, 325-person energy supplier with locations in 10 states.
The CEO of the Year honoree was be profiled in the October 2011 issue of Baltimore SmartCEO magazine. Annually, SmartCEO shares the CEO of the Year’s inspirational story with over 15,000 local CEO readers in the October issue and celebrates the CEO of the Year with a cocktail reception. Over 350 local CEOs and business leaders joined SmartCEO magazine to recognize and applaud Thompson at The Thames Street Wharf the evening of Thursday, October 6.
