BlueRidge Bank Celebrates Grand Opening of Full-Service Branch in Towson
TOWSON, MARYLAND (November 2, 2011) – BlueRidge Bank, a commercial bank based in Frederick, held an event today to celebrate the opening of its new full-service branch in downtown Towson serving the Baltimore metropolitan area. The branch, which is located in The Nottingham Centre at 502 Washington Avenue (at Allegheny and Washington Avenues), has been serving customers since September.

Randy Thompson named Baltimore SmartCEO magazine’s CEO of the Year
Congratulations to our client and friend Randy Thompson for being named Baltimore SmartCEO magazine CEO of the Year.
With more than 350 executives in attendance, the CEO of the Year award was presented to Randy Thompson, CEO of ThompsonGas. Thompson took over the family business in 1996. In just 15 years, Thompson has grown a one-location appliance and propane store in Boonsboro, MD, into a $115 million, 325-person energy supplier with locations in 10 states.

Feed Me Seymour
Remember the movie and Broadway show Little Shop of Horrors, about a nerdy florist shop worker Seymour who raises a vicious plant that feeds on human blood? My iPod has become the plant. As it sits on my desk its about 4 ft. tall and bellows down to me to feed it. Not blood, but music. I like to listen to the iPod when I am working out and driving in the car. I make new playlists, go back to older songs backed up on external drives but I need new music. Feed me, it bellows.

Casino Night for Jeffy
We were lucky enough to get the opportunity to design some posters and event tickets for an upcoming "Casino Night" fundraiser for Jeffy's Field. The poster series mixes the fun of casino games with a baseball twist and the event tickets are large format playing cards, each with our illustrated version of a baseball themed "Jeff" of Hearts, Diamonds, Spades or Clubs.
